Well this is a lyric from Super Junior’s new song wth title “MAMACITA”. This is song from Super Junior’s seventh album, “MAMACITA”.

Ahh, do you  know Super Junior, right?

Don’t be afraid if you don’t know about Super Junior. Because I will tell to you about Super Junior and hidden interesting facts that you have to know about the King of K-Pop, Super Junior. 

Super Junior is the legend in the K-Pop industry. This group still exists until now. In the beginning of November in this year, Super Junior blew the candle for their 9th anniversary debut. Super Junior is the group from SM Entertainment. They debuted in 6 November 2005 with 12 members and added one member in 23 May 2006. Until now, Super Junior has released seven albums.

Nine years is so long for an idol still exists in the K-Pop industry that has very tight competition. Nevertheless, Super Junior proves it. They still exists in the K-Pop industry with their works that always have inovation. Their hardworking and inovation of their works make Super Junior still exists until  now. The world already acknowledges them to be the King of Hallyu (Korean Wave).

Here, there are some interesting facts that you should know about Super Junior. Besides, you will acknowledge that Super Junior is the King of Hallyu (Korean Wave).

Great Leader

Leader has big role in the group. The role of the leader gives big influence for the existence of the group. Like Super Junior. The leader of Super Junior is Leeteuk. Leading a group with many members like Super Junior is hard. Actually, how to coordinate  twelve heads with different characters. The different characters of the members make Leeteuk have to know the members well. Besides, he has high tolerance . As the leader he has to lower his position and let the other members show up to get their dream first.

Super Show

Super Junior has their own concert named “Super Show”. “Super Show 1 : The 1st Asia Tour” began in 2007 in Seoul to promote their second album “Don’t Don”. The first destination of Super Show 1 was in Seoul and it continued around Asia until 2008. Super Show continued with “Super Show 2 : The 2nd Asia Tour” in 2009 until 2010 to promote their third album “Sorry Sorry”. Super Show 2 ended in 2010 and it continued with “Super Show 3 : The 3rd Asia Tour” in 2010 to promote their fourth album “Bonamana”. Super Show 3 started in Seoul in 2010 and finished in 2011.

Super Junior continued their exploration around the world with “Super Junior World Tour : Super Show 4”  to promote their fifth album “Mr. Simple” and greeted the fans around the world. The first destinantion of Super Show 4 was in Seoul in 2011. As world tour Super Show 4 has many new destination, like Jakarta and Paris. Super Junior finished their first world tour  in May 2012 with an encore show in Seoul. The world tour continued, with the name “Super Junior World Tour : Super Show 5” to promote their sixth album “Sexy, Free and Single”. It started from March 2013 in Seoul, Super Junior explored the world for second time. There are many new destinations in Super Show 5. They were exploring the exotic South America in Brazil, Chili, Peru and Argentina. Besides, Super Junior became the first Korean artists that held a solo concert in South America. They also explored some city in Europe like Paris and London. In this year, after finished Super Show 5 in 2013, Super Junior came back to greet fans around the world with “Super Junior World Tour : Super Show 6” to promote their seventh album “Mamacita”. Super Show 6 started in Seoul at September 2014 and will continued until 2015.

Super Show that held from 2008 already reached the 100th performances. Moreover, Super Junior became the first K-Pop idol that held a solo concert for 100 times with more that 1 million audiences over the twenty countries and one hundred cities around the world.

Everlasting Friend

Every idol group has their own fanclub name. For Super Junior, Leeteuk as the leader chooses ELF or Everlasting Friend for the official fanclub of Super Junior. ELF became official fanclub in 2 June 2006. ELF has official lightstick with color sapphire blue. The sapphire blue lightstick always shines beautifully  in every Super Junior’s performances.

ELF often made Super Junior feels touched through their project like sapphire blue wave during the concert. Furthermore, ELF is the most important part of Super Junior because Super Junior can exist because of ELF that always support them until the world acknowledge them.

Big Explotion, Sorry Sorry

In the 2009, the world got shake by Sorry Sorry, the song from Super Junior’s third album “Sorry Sorry”. The song was easy listening and the dance movement was easy to follow. It made the song spread around the world. There were many cover dance from around the world. There was no exception for the cover dance. Even the child until the oldster. The most impressive dance cover of Sorry Sorry was in Philipina. The prisoners in Philipina made Sorry Sorry dance as morning exercise.

There was hidden story why Sorry Sorry became a hit. Super Junior’s member Sungmin said that during the music video shooting one of the lamp was exploding because of overheating. This explosion of the lamp made Sorry Sorry was exploding around the world and made Super Junior became the King of Hallyu.

Super Junior, Super Soldiers

In South Korea, military service is duty for every Korean man in the age 20 until 30 during two years. There is no exception for military service even the idol like Super Junior.

Since 2010  Super Junior never had activities with complete members because one by one the members had to enter the army. Started by Kangin who entered army in 2010 and followed by Heechul in September 2011. When Kangin finished their military duty in April 2012, the leader, Leeteuk, had to enter military duty  in October 2012. Later, in the May 2013, Yesung entered military army and Heechul finished his military army in the end of August 2013. When Leeteuk finished his military duty in July 2014, Shindong had to enter army in 25 November 2014. One by one members of Super Junior had to enter military to be soldiers for their country for two years. Until all members finished their military duty, they need seven until eight years to be Super Junior in full formation.

Super Junior, Super Entrepreneur

Super Junior’s members realize that being an artist is not everlasting job. So they decided to invest their money into business. Almost all of the Super Junior’s members have own business. Like Yesung who has a coffee shop named “Mouse Rabbit” and glasses shop named “Why Style”, Shindong owns computer’s cafe name “PC Bang”, Eunhyuk has a bakery named “Chocolate BonBon” and Donghae has a restaurant named “Grill5 Taco”. In 2014, another members build their own business like Sungmin opened a cafe named “Wiki Cafe” and Kyuhyun also opened a cafe named “Mom’s House”. The cafes or restaurants became the destination for fans who want to meet Super Junior’s member in person and free.

Super Junior, Super Talent

Super Junior is multi talent group. Their activities not only in singing and dancing. But Super Junior stretches their wings in some fields like acting, radio DJ, TV host and musical. Besides, Super Junior becomes ambassador for some brands and they become the Ambassador of Blood Donation, Ambassador of of Tourism and Ambassador of Shopping in Seoul Summer Sale.

Besides, their talents not only in stage, but they expert in design a concept and compose song. Like the concept of Super Show was designed by Shindong and Eunhyuk and many of Super Junior’s song is composed by Super Junior’s members itself.

Super Junior, Pioneer of Marriage

Is it good news or bad news?

In the end of September of this year, Super Junior’s Sungmin revealed his relationship with musical actress, Kim Saeun. Moreover, two weeks later, in 14 October 2004 through his personal blog, Sungmin announced his marriage that hold at 13 December 2014.

There are many pros and cons between fans about Sungmin’s marriage. Some fans agree with his marriage because of Super Junior’s age is enought to build a family. However, some fans disagree with the idol’s marriage. Even though there are many pros and cons, the pre-wedding photo and the invitation spread out at 13 November.

Although marriage is harmful thing for idol’s future career, Sungmin is the first member of male Korean idol group that got married while doing activities with his group. Congrats, Lee Sungmin.
